Ok so I finally started decorating for Christmas and the first room to be completed was my office. I love decorating my office room (that is what Mateo calls it) as I can make it as girly as I want! I have collected for several years most of the stuff in my office. I love vintage items so you can always find me at my local thrift stores as well as yard sales. One mans junk is another mans treasure right?! i have found some pretty amazing things and I don't like to pay to much for my treasures. That makes the hunt all the more fun!
Next to be decorated will be the family room/dining/kitchen. They are all connected in my little cottage house. Red, white, and silver will remain my colors of choice this year. Still waiting on husband to hang a few shelves before I can start. At least I can prepare the rooms by cleaning and de-cluttering. So much to do on this first day of December!

It's November and It's been awhile!
Well I can't believe that January was the last time I blogged! I guess you can blame that on pinterest! I find myself on pinterest a lot due to the fact that it is so easy on your Iphone. Lots to share so I better get to writing!
Mateo my grandson started preschool this fall and he loves it! always singing and playing. My daughter moved to an apartment close by so I see her and Mateo everyday. Our annual summer trip to San Diego was amazing as always. We left early to catch an Angels game in LA and also fit in Sea World this time. I was a little disappointed with the shopping as I did not find as many great deals as I have in the past.
Husband started teaching in a new district and seems to really like it. Johnny started his second year of college at Fresno state and enjoys working at the Bulldog shop. I will have to say one of the most exciting things to happen was our GIANTS are world series champions once again! Johnny and Taylor were lucky enough to attend the parade in SF. Now we are approaching Thanksgiving and I'm happy to say we are all getting together at my brother Tommys house. My sister and her family from CO will not be there with us but they will be in spirit. today I will be attempting to clean and organize our garage as I get ready to start decorating for CHRISTmas soon.
